Hydrating Cleansing Balm

All I can say is this balm is a must. When I first tried this formula, I was skeptical, but with the results I fell in love with it.  This is a natural option which nurtures the skin, provides healing and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Hydrating Clean

Ingredients:

56 grams (56 ml) beeswax

150 (150 ml) grams of jojoba oil

3 to 6 drops of essential oil (lavender or lemongrass)

Skin type: all skin types

Use before: 3 months

Tips: Avoid exposing the balm to direct sunlight to last longer.  

Steps

  1. Container

Use a clean and dry glass container of about 9 oz (280 ml)

Add the essential oil

Label the container with ingredients and date

  1. Preparation

In a bowl set over a pot of simmering water, place beeswax until is fully melted. Then add and stir the jojoba oil. The mixture will congeal for a few minutes, but keep stirring and it will become liquid again. Pour the fusion in the container. Let the balm cool for about 5 minutes and place it in the refrigerator. After the balm is solid it is ready to be used.

How to use it?

On dry skin enjoy massaging the balm onto face and neck. Gently work over your eyes to remove makeup. It can also be used as a moisturizer for your face and body.
